Poppy is looking for a forever retirement home! We thought we had a spot lined up for her already but that doesn't look like it is going to work out after all. Poppy can be wary with new people, so she would need a home with a patient, preferably Husky-familiar owner; she seems to prefer women over men but has always been kid-friendly. She loves to play and run! She can be a very submissive girl, but she will also try to mount other dogs during play. Poppy is spayed and up to date on her vetting; she turned 5 years old this August. She would probably do best in a home with male dogs, or a home with submissive females because some of my more dominant females have not always been the nicest to her in the past and she tries to avoid interacting with those types. She has never lived with a cat, but she has been around cats while indoors and doesn't pay them any mind. She has mostly been outdoors but would do okay inside as long as she had plenty of outdoor time; she is also crate trained and sleeps and eats in her crate.
